Public Relationship Manager Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, determined, and dedicated Public Relationship Manager to join our team. Our growing company is in need of a professional and skilled expert to nurture a solid network. Besides nurturing the industry’s network, the expert will also be responsible for developing a good corporate image and increasing product awareness through executing and implementing effective communication and also media relation project or program. The main task is to promote and also create the public image for the company and boost the awareness (to both the company and the products). Basically, the manager will be the connector between the company and public. He/she will be the company’s representative that brings and creates a positive image.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and design media relation strategy. It includes looking for the proper and proper high level placements in the online media, broadcast, and print
  • Come up and develop a solid marketing communication plan that also covers budgets, goals, tactics, and strategies
  • Direct the media relation team (focusing on social media( to engage audiences through new and also traditional media
  • Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to public relations
  • Evaluate any possible opportunity for sponsorships, partnerships, and also advertising within the on-going basis
  • Manage interview requests and also media inquiries
  • Maintain any existing media relationship and cultivate industry media and business’ new contacts
  • Create contents for byline articles, keynote presentations, and press release
  • Build and create relationships with business leaders to improve and grow industry awareness
  • Analyze, oversee, monitor, and communicate public relation results on a regular basis, preferable on quarterly basis
  • Maintain and keep a deep understanding of the industrial trends that affect the clients and the success of the company
  • Be able to make necessary and proper recommendation that goes along with the company’s communication strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant disciplines. A Master degree is highly preferable and it will be an advantage
  • Have a solid experience in event planning
  • Have good and trusted editing and writing skills
  • Have an in-depth familiarity and knowledge with social media and digital accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, and blogs
  • Have a past experience in public image branding or public relations
  • Have strong and solid relationship with national and local industry, and it includes media outlet industry
  • Have a proven history and track record in planning, designing, and executing successful campaigns (in public relations) at both national and also local level
  • Have a past experience in becoming a spokesperson or company’s representative
  • Able to bring in positive atmosphere and feel comfortable doing so
  • Have the skills in doing both media print and broadcast interviews
